Orson  Scott  Card  is  an
award    winning   science
fiction author who grew up
in   Utah   and   attended
Brigham  Young University.
There  he  studied  drama,
which  contributed  to his
writing of plays. Card had
his  own  theatre company,
which  was a success for a
number of years. He learnt
to  speak  Portuguese as a
result  of  his missionary
years  in  Brazil.  Now he
lives in Greensboro, North
Carolina,  with  his  wife
and children.
